ANNA NERA is a new cool Fairtrade Lifestyle brand. Inspired by the woman who, just like me, loves to wear black and loves design. After many years experience in the retail and wholesale, I decided to start my own brand. And where else to start in Nepal! In the past years I had the pleasure to meet the skilled and pasionate artisans who produce for Fairtrade organisations in Nepal. They are making the new collection of ANNA NERA. An unique collection which consist handmade items like homestyle accessoiries, ceramics, fashionaccessoiries, bags and jewelry. Fairtrade off corse, from Nepal and Bangladesh. Ánd sustainable because…. Black is never Out of fashion.

These enterprises transform local communities, pioneer upcycling, empower women and practice organic farming. Their impact goes far and wide. These are the enterprises of the new economy. I travelled back in Nepal and Bangladesh to work and meet the women behind, and make a new and cool collection together. I try to capture the story behind the artisans to bring this closer to you ;-)
